The Citizen-Led Energy Democracy Advisory Board is made up of up to 15 passionate and curious people from all walks of life in Marion County who  want to learn more about energy and climate.

1)  Learn together about energy democracy and resilience, climate justice, community health, power-building, and government

2)  Build influence and authority on policies affecting our lives and the Indianapolis community

3)  Disrupt the status quo

While several environmental advisory boards exist across the state, they are typically formed as part of local government operations or to address short-term issues. This board will be different. It is community-led. It exists to empower community-driven solutions to local environmental justice issues. It’s designed to  put people in charge of the future.
